Transportation Coordinators - Automated
Information for Movements System II (TC-AIMS II)

TC-AIMS II selects Apptricity Transportation Management System (TMS) to integrate multiple legacy point solutions and deliver a comprehensive, real-time solution capable of meeting the rigorous demands of the DoD.

To address the critical shortfalls in the transportation of materiel and personnel, TC-AIMS II was tasked with creating a next-generation Transportation Management System (TMS). Apptricity was selected to replace aging, legacy point solutions with a comprehensive, integrated application, delivering a single point of intelligence with In-Transit Visibility and Total Asset Visibility (ITV/TAV). Apptricity delivered a software solution that enhances and extends visibility and control, further automates processes and improves overall optimization.

TC-AIMS II required a modernized, integrated and easy-to-deploy Automated Information System (AIS) to support current and re-engineered functional business processes throughout the Department of Defense (DoD). The solution had to provide web-based unit deployment/redeployment functionality in an enterprise architecture. It also needed to operate in a stand-alone, work group or isolated server configuration, even in severe environments. Finally, the solution had to integrate multiple legacy databases into a lean, unified, easy-to-use system that would consolidate and enhance security, workflow, compliance, reporting and audit requirements for all branches of service.

Learn how Apptricity TMS solved this difficult challenge for TC-AIMS II.
