Job description:

The software Engineer will work as part of the development organization to develop and further extend Apptricity's report writing tools and analytic products.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years cumulative experience developing commercial enterprise software with at least 3 year experience with a report writing tool. JasperReports or Crystal a big plus
• Very strong SQL skills required
• ERP software development a big plus
• 1 year development in complex applications with industry standard products: Java, EJB, JSP, J2EE, RDBMS
• Knowledge of commercial J2EE application servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS
• Ability to troubleshoot software configuration problems
• Demonstrated ability to handle/organize multiple complex technical projects simultaneously
• Ideal candidate must have strong analytical and development skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A commitment to detail is essential

Specific Duties Include:

• Design, develop and implement new application reports for the Apptricity Product Sites
• Troubleshoot and fix problems
• Work closely with other engineers to identify areas and methods to improve application efficiency and increase product reliability
