Job description:

Apptricity Corporation is looking to fill an open role for a Technical Project Manager. This individual will have the ability to manage the deployment of our application software, to our customers, through the entire SDLC. This person will also be expected to be an individual contributor, from a technical perspective, to these projects. Projects may also include internal development efforts for new products and/or enhancements to existing products.

Requirements:

• Must be team oriented
• Prior experience working for an application software company (desired)
• 3+ years experience in a related discipline
• Demonstrated abilities in designing and deploying web based enterprise applications
• A solid technical background that includes the following J2EE, Java, XML, HTML, SQL, EJB, Ant, Java Script, RDBMS
• Experience with Supply Chain or Financial applications
• Ability to review code for correctness and adherence to standards
• Proficient at managing all aspects of the project delivery including defining scope, specifying and confirming requirements, creating detailed project plans, estimating duration, and transitioning the project to the maintenance phase
• A track record of delivering projects on time and budget using an iterative development process
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously (both internal and customer projects)
• Excellent organizational, oral, written and interpersonal skills. (Especially for delivering projects to external customers)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, interrupt driven environment
• Bachelors degree in a related discipline
• Project Management Certification (desired)
• Will consider technical team leads, or other technical supervisory roles, looking to move up
